Isla Holiday Home has incorporated several green initiatives and is committed to a holistic approach towards environmental sustainability with its activities based on sound environmental practices to ensure total well being of its occupant.

During its construction, several elements were integrated to ensure that there is a significant reduction in the carbon footprint.

The units were built with double bricks, also known as cavity brick or fired clay brick offering superior thermal mass resulting in more stable and comfortable natural interior temperature. The bricks also absorb and release humidity providing a 40-60% range required for healthy living and does not attract mold.

The walls also provide superior sound insulation from external low frequency noises. Rainwater harvesting is a standard feature whereby the runoff from the roofs is collected and stored in underground tanks and is then used throughout the property.

The establishment has a fully operational solar water heating system swimming pool has the latest technology aimed at clients’ well being. The Magna Pool uses Magnesium and Potassium minerals which sooth's skin conditions, relieves stress and anxiety, detoxifies the body, and reduces aches and pains. The water is crystal clear and the Magnesium has a positive effect on treating cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes and with no eye irritation.
